How do I calculate the molecular formula for a compound with an empirical formula CH2O and a molar mass of 90 g/mol?

    CH2O = 12 + 2 + 16 = 30 g/mol

    90 g/mol / 30 g/mol = 3

    3 x (CH2O) = C3H6O3
