If 1.75 L of a gas is at 700. K and is under 250. kPa of pressure, what will the new

volume be if the temperature is lowered to 298K and the pressure is brought down to

53.2 kilopascals?

    Explanation:

    P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2

    250 * 1.75/700 = 53.2*V2/298

    V2 = (298*250*1.75) / (700*53.2) = 3.50 L
