Ip a gas has a temperature of 310 k and a pressure of 100 kpa. part a find the volume occupied by 1.20 mol of this gas, assuming it is ideal.

    Assuming it is ideal. It would obey Van der waals eqn PV = NRT. Here Pressure P = 100pka. Temperature T = 310 k. Number of moles N = 1.2. And the rate constant R = 8.31 So substituting we have 100 * V = 1.2 * 8.31 * 100 = 997.2 / 100 = 9.972
