Is the lewis structure a good representation of the molecules actual shape?

    Yes it is.

    Explanation: The molecules are very alike when represented in a lewis structure (sorry I'm not too good at explaining)

    No. Although Lewis Structure can represent electrons in bonding fairly well, it's horrible when it comes to representing the actual shape of molecules.

    This is why something known as VSEPR exists. Essentially, it's just Lewis Structures but with accurate molecule shapes.
