Determine the solubility of co2 in soda water at 25°c if the pressure of co2 is 5.6 atm. the henry's law constant for carbon dioxide in water at this temperature is 3.4 * 10-2 m/atm.

    Solubility is estimated either in grams per 100 g of dissolvable - g/100 g - or number of moles per 1 L of the solution.

    So making this a formula, it would be:

    solubility = kH X P

    solubility = 3.4X10^-2 M/atm X 5.6 atm = 0.19 M is the solubility of carbon dioxide
