If you want to complement your work, you can use another type of map called Topographic map.

This map is like physical maps, but it includes different landscapes like elevation changes, and uses a variety of symbols to represent human features and physical ones, too.

Most of the time you will find on the maps coordinated systems like latitude, longitude and UTM grids.
