The aftermath of the war saw a lot of disastrous consequences for the different countries, a major one being starvation.

Britain was able to keep up with its supply of food from countries such as Australia, which provided its meat. The countries they colonized at that time also provided some benefits to them. However, it was noted that the British government was not able to achieve equal distribution of food among its Indian subjects. This resulted in the starvation of over a million of its Indian subjects. This thus convinced the Indians that British superiority as a sham.
