How did the articles of confederation reflect colonists experiences with government?

    The colonists were afraid that a federal government could become tyrannical and feared that monarchy could be reinstated. They therefore placed a limit on the congress to lower its power, which meant that every state would have its own constitution and its own set of laws and that the power of the federal government would be minute.
