The purpose of the Indian boarding school is to eliminate Traditional Indian culture.
Explanation:
Indian boarding schools were started mainly to eliminate traditional Indian culture. The government forced Indian families to send their children to "boarding schools". Later they themselves sent their children to boarding schools because there were no schools around in there. They wanted their children to get education.
1. In boarding schools, Indian children were seated separately
2. Teachers made fun of their culture.
3. They were forced to speak in english
4. They were forced to give up their religion and follow christianity
Not all Indian Boarding schools were bad though.
