Who were the Puritans and what did they believe and the resulting egalitarianism.

    The puritans were a English group of reformed protestants. They believed that the church of England was corrupt and the real christians must separate from it. Which explains why egalitarianism became a result from it. Egalitarianism-the doctrine that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities.
