    General Montcalm

    Explanation:

The French army under the command of General Montcalm fought the Britsh forces at the shores of Quebec. Montcalm has been criticized for the decision he took in the battle. In 1979 the produce in the french settlement was bad because of the suffering harvest secondly, French reinforcement was lacking. These made conditions worse for Montcalm. Instead of waiting for reinforcement he ordered attack ob British forces and suffered heavily.
