    Explanation:

    Chamber of commerce and state politicians successfully lobbied the Federals for defence resources share. The federal government poured money and resources into Oklahoma even before united states entered the war, the fund was given to training pilots, building and establishing military installation, and for war time production units.

    Most of the men joined forces and wore military uniform and women joined workforces in wartime production. This is done under Selective services act in 1940. Oklahoma got freed from the clutches of economic depression by World War - II.
