Why was Germany geographically vulnerable (at risk) ?

    The reason why Germany has always been geographically at risk was because it is a nation that is surrounded by powerful land countries which were able to wreak havoc if they had decided to in the past (this is only a hypohetical scenario). A good example of the shortcoming and strenghts of the German army could be seen during World War I.
