    Non-Western elites' were modernizing their societies during the period of 1800 to 1900.

Due to wealth, the Non-Western elites were modernize their society by using products such as clothes, beverages, and decorative materials for the houses were imported from western countries. At that time, western countries such as Europe and USA were considered as a model of modern civilization and that's why these Non-Western elites follow their culture.
