Solve x2 - 7x + 12 = 0.

    Factor and use the zero product property. To factor, find two numbers that multiply to + 12 and add to - 7. These two numbers are - 4 and - 3

    So,

    x^2 - 7x + 12 = 0

    (x-4) (x-3) = 0

    x-4 = 0 or x-3 = 0

    x = 4 or x = 3

    Answer is choice B
