Ice cream sales (in gallons) fluctuate from month to month, depending on the season. A local ice cream lover would like to conduct a study to see if Blank Slate Creamery sells more ice cream than Ben & Jerry's, on average. Each month for the next 12 months, this ice cream enthusiast will record the total ice cream sales (in gallons) at Blank Slate Creamery and the total ice cream sales (in gallons) at Ben & Jerry's. Is this a paired data test or two independent samples test?

This is two independent sample test.

    Step-by-step explanation:

Ice cream sales will fluctuate from month to month. So sales will differ every month. A separate sale will be made on Blank Slate Creamery. A first sample test will be taken on Blank Slate Creamery. After that, the average value will be noted. Now sales will be noted on Ben & Jerry's. After that value will be added. Now, these two values will be compared. We should check which has the highest value. Using this we can identify which ice cream has a higher record.
