What's the simplified form of 2x + 3 - x + 5?

    I think the correct answer would be B. x + 8.

    Explanation - - simplified form means the answer to its simplest so you have to combine like terms 2x and - x are like terms so you combine them you get 1x or x and then you have to combine + 3 and + 5 you get + 8 now but them together you would get x+8.
