a culture initially contains 200 bacteria. if the number of bacteria doubles every 2 hours, how many bacteria will be in the culture at the end of 12 hours?

    So after every 2 hours the bacteria's numbers double (or 100% is "added") so we can simplify 12 down to 6 because we only want the number after every two hours, 400+800+1600+3200 + 6400 + 12800 = 25200 total after 12 hours
