    Basically you want to get d by itself so you subtract any other number from both sides. I got: - 3d/d^-2d+3/d=-2/d=12. then you combine like terms and you get d=12

    -3 (2) / 2^2-2 (2) - 8+3/2-4=-2

    -6/2^2-4-8+1.5-4=-2

    -3 (4) - 4-8+1.5-4=-2

    -12-4-8+1.5-4=-2

    -16-8+1.5-4=-2

    -26+1.4-4=-26.5

    -26.5-4=-2

    22.5=-2
