Why does pi go on forever?

pi starts out 3.1415926535 ... and goes on and on, so goes 0.333333 ... and goes 0.18181818 ... and the number zero can be written 0.0000 not sure if it right but here you go

It is required to go on further for smaller and smaller calculations.
