3 oz. has to be divided by 3/4.

Think of 3 as a fraction. 3/1 right?

When you divide with a fraction, all you have to do is flip the second fraction (the divisor) over and multiply. Like this:

3/1 divided by 3/4 is the same as 3/1 multiplied by 4/3.

Multiply across and you get: 12/3, which is 4. There will be 4 ounces of pasta per serving.
