Imagine the number 50.
50 rabbits, cakes, bikes, whatever. Let's use cakes.
Now if we had to give everyone in town 2 cakes, how many cakes would I be able to take out?
50 cakes divided in portions of 2-cakes, that means, if we hand out 2 cakes to every person we see, we'd be able to give out 25 cakes.
