5 is one of 6 possibilities from the number cube.

If Sue rolled it once, there is a 1/6 probability of her getting a five.

Look at the numerator (the top of the fraction). It is a 1 because in the scenario I have, Sue rolled the die once.

If the number cube was rolled 48 times, the number 1 just needs to be replaced with 48.

    48/6=8.

So, Sue should expect to roll a 5 8 times.

1/6*48=8 because it's a fair dice it should come as 8 times for every number as well
