    Velocity of a sound wave travelling through air at temperature T is given by,

    V=√γRT/M

    where, γ is adiabatic constant=1.4

    R is universal constant = 8.314 J/mol K

    M = molecular weight of gas in kg/mol = 0.2895

    T = temperature = 50°C = 323.15 K

    Velocity of sound = / sqrt{/frac{1.4 (8.134) (323.15) }{0.2895}} [/tex]

    = 360.45 m/s

    Therefore, velocity of the sound wave travelling through the air at 50°C is approximately 361 m/s.
