    Answer: It is our need for company that urges us to make friends. So we make friends for companionship.

    We make friends for a company. It is our need for a company that urges us to make friends. We enjoy when we have a friend. Life becomes relaxed. Our friend is our companion so we can easily share our problems with him or her.

    The positive way that we can get this reward of companionship is

    Man is a social animal. He needs a company to live, otherwise, he cannot survive. So companionship satisfies our social needs. Human beings are emotional too. They need to share their feelings. So they can share it with their companion. We are emotionally satisfied.
