A cyclist rides in a circle with speed 3.2 m/s. What is his centripetal acceleration if the circle has a radius of 12m?

    Centripetal Acceleration r =

    Circular Radius, v = Velocity Solution: a =

    (8.1 * 8.1) / 27 =

    65.61 / 27 a = 2.43

    Therefore, the centripetal acceleration is 2.43 m^2/s.
