A river can be a problem for a certain region when there are Heavy Rain falls. when rain falls heavily it causes the river to rise, causing enormous waves, destroying all the landscapes. An example is when Hurricane Katrina hit the New Orleans, Louisiana area. There was a nearby river, and the river flooded the city.
