    Pseudo listening

    Explanation:

Sometimes when we sit up front and act that we are really listening by maintaining eye contact and nodding in agreement with our instructor, however we actually lost in some other thoughts and we demonstrate what we call is Pseudo Listening.

Pseudo listening is pretending to listen and not listening actually. Pseudo listening can be caught easily by asking questions, merely asking the person to repeat what is has been said just now. Passive listening is listening without interrupting. That is allowing the person to complete his talk.
