Is the criminal justice system (police and the courts) a public good? explain?

    The criminal justice system is a public good because they ensure safety of the citizens and to provide fairness in the system. With having to make sure that laws are followed and those who abide them will likely face consequences of which will be a way of showing how the system works and why people should follow the system that ensures peace and safety among citizens.
