    C.

a resurgence of traditional social practices

    Explanation:

The dynasty was founded by the peasant rebel leader Zhu Yuanzhang, which was also known as the Hongwu Emperor.

During the reign of the Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644, there were many revitalization projects which were tried. An example was the restoration of the collapsed areas and additions to the length of the Great Wall of China.

The new construction ensured that the Great Wall is now over 2,000 miles long, 25 feet high, and 12 feet wide at the top.
