    Explanation: In other to obtain a sample which is truly representative of the larger population, then every member of the population must have the same probability of being included in the sample distribution. If the company had only included those with telephone lines alone, that would have meant that a sizeable number of the entire population were left out intentionally and not due to random selection. However, with the use of an online survey tool, that means members without telephone also have a random chance of being part of the sampling distribution. Hence, making the sampling distribution a good representative of the larger population.
