Difference between meissner's corpuscles and pacinian corpuscles

    The difference is that Meissner's corpuscles are fine-touch receptors that are responsive to light pressure. (which makes you able to identify an object with closed eyes by touching it)

    Pacinian corpuscles are pressure receptors located deeper in the skin that enable you to detect weight and deep pressure and vibration. (which makes you able to identify an object if it's placed on your hand or by trying to lift them)
