    In the nineteenth century, there was an era of rapid economic growth. During the century, America wages were actually more than there counterparts in Europe which causes a lot of European immigrants.

    There was a wage growth of 60 percent between 1860 and 1890 because of the 'industrialization boom''. Because of this, many people migrated from Europe into United States of America which caused abject poverty and inequality.

    In the nineteenth century, Railroads were the major industry followed by mining and manufacturing industries.

    Many black, Irish, and Swedish adult women worked as servants. Although, in light industries, women were hired to work there too. The trust in government then, was extremely low.
