The correct answer is A) to the states for ratification.

Following approval at the Constitutional Convention, the Constitution was sent to the states for ratification.

The Constitutional Convention was held in 1787 in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Delegates of most of the colonies assisted and debated on the new kind of government for the United States and ended up with the creation of the US Constitution. From May 25to September 17, federalists and antifederalists argued and debated the best form of government for the new nation. When finally was approved, the Constitution was sent to the states for its ratification.
