    You have to isolate x, resulting in

    2x = 3/5 - 5/15 + 4/10

    Find the LCM

    2x = 18/30 - 10/30 + 12/30

    Combine like terms

    2x = 20/30

    Simplify

    2x = 2/3

    Divide

    x = 1/3
