    The density of any material is always (the mass of a sample of it) divided by (the volume of the same sample).

    If the mass of a sample is 46 grams and the volume of the sample is 14 cm^3, then the density of the material would be

    (46 g) / (14 cm³) = 3.29 g/cm³
