    Migraine headaches cause intense and pulsating pain in head. The distorted vision and numbness of fingers that Tanya is experiencing are basically the symptoms or warning signs of migraine headaches. The vision get distorted and before a migraine attack such visual disturbances occur. Also one warning sign of a migraine attack is tingling sensation and numbness of fingers, hand, arm or face. Some of the causes and triggers of migraine attacks are anxiety, stress, disturbed sleep cycle, genetic reasons, certain foods and excessive dilation of blood vessels. This attack lasts from a few hours to even three days during which the patient experiences throbbing pain in head and feels nauseated and sensitivity to sounds, voices and light.
